Tristan Smyth Wins Gold!

He's already racked up a silver medal in the 400m. Last night, however, Tristan Smyth won gold in the 1500m in a photo finish. He slipped past the finish line just 0.03 seconds faster than silver medalist Michael Kahn.

"I took the lead with 500m to go, but then Michael put on an unexpected surge and it was a close fight to the finish line," he said. "I had to wait until the results were posted before I knew I had the win."

According to Tristan, the 2013 Sherbrooke Canada Games have been memorable.

"I'm honoured to represent BC here and proud of my performance at the Canada Summer Games," he said.
